Kindergarten Music

Welcome to the Kindergarten Music Blog!

In Kindergarten Music we move, play instruments, and explore our voices and sounds around us.  We play instruments from our personal music kits that include a scarf, egg shaker, rhythm sticks, scrapers, and pre-reading rhythm cards. We analyze music by identifying musical elemental opposites such as rhythm (some notes are long and some notes are short).  Musicplayonline is a great website that has lots of music educational games and most of the songs we use in kindergarten.
